Biography

Prabu Manikam is currently a Law Lecturer at the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM). He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) with a Bachelor's in Law (LLB) and a Masters of Law (LLM).

Prabu has been actively involved in legal education since 2010, teaching a variety of law modules at both diploma and degree levels across several institutions, including Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA (KUPTM), and Taylor's University.

His academic contributions include the publication of several textbook chapters in areas such as Criminal Law, Law of Tort, and Contract Law. Prabu's research interests revolve around Criminal Law and Human Rights, areas in which he continues to publish and present at national and international conferences.

He is a firm believer in the servant leadership philosophy, emphasizing that the role of a leader is to serve those they lead. In the classroom, he strives to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that empowers students to think critically and develop practical legal skills.
